The Nepse index, which measures stock trading in the stock market, has reached an all-time high. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange, the Nepse index has risen by 15.72 points to reach 2,674.46.
Similarly, the Sensitive Index, which measures the trading volume of large companies, rose by 4.34 points to 476.18. A total of 1,61,08,499 shares of 213 companies were bought and sold at a price of Rs. 7,477,795,738.
After Tuesday’s transaction, the market capitalization has reached close to Rs 37 trillion. According to Nepse, the market capitalization has reached an average of Rs. 36.94 billion.
Of the total 13 subgroups traded, shares of six subgroups declined today while shares of seven subgroups rose. Banking declined by 0.59 points, trade by 432.25 points, finance by 3.36 points, non-life insurance by 287.76 points, others by 3.9 points and life insurance by 191.42 points. Hotels and tourism rose by 205.79 points, development banks by 29.97 points, hydropower by 114.05 points, manufacturing by 183.91 points, microfinance by 64.19 points, collective investment funds by 0.02 points and investment by 2.72 points.
Today, Nepal Infrastructure Bank is in the top position in terms of transactions. The company had a turnover of Rs. 398.05 million. Similarly, Chilime Hydropower Company Rs. 311,063,955, Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Company Rs. 292,060,083, Himalayan Distillery Rs. 221,837,643, Himalayan General Insurance Rs. 212,861,842, Nepal Bank Rs. 176.895 million 890, Azod Insurance Company Rs. 166.137 million 486, Butwal Power Company Rs. 162.73 million 767, Nepal Telecom Company Rs. 15.29 million 99 thousand 93 and Rasuwagadhi Hydropower topped the list with a turnover of Rs. 147.87 million.
Shares of Chilime Hydropower Company, Universal Power United, Idi Mardi Hydropower and Chandragiri Hills turned positive today. Investors in those companies earned the same 10 percent. Similarly, investors in Womi Microfinance earned 9.95 per cent, NIC Asia Microfinance 9.93 per cent, Mahila Microfinance 9.93 per cent, Sanjen Hydropower Company 9.89 per cent, Shivshree Hydropower 9.81 per cent and Panchakanya Mai Hydropower 9.87 per cent.
Similarly, the shares of Salt Trading Corporation had a negative circuit. Investors in the company lost 10 percent, with Sanima General Insurance 8.78, Azod Insurance 8.72, United Finance 5.96, General Insurance 5.13, IME General Insurance 4.39, Shree Investment 3.09, Prudential Insurance 2. Investors in United Insurance lost 2.94 percent and Lumbini General Insurance lost 2.91 percent.
