On Magh 27, 2079, Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited (AHPC) has scheduled its 25th Annual General Meeting. Starting at 11 AM, a meeting will be conducted in Maitri Hall, Indreni Complex, New Baneshwor, Kathmandu.

The AGM will approve an 8.421% dividend worth Rs. 21.11 Crores for the fiscal year 2078–2079, among other items on the agenda. The dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 1.72 Arba was decided to be distributed at the board of directors meeting on Mangsir 16. A 0.421% cash dividend (for tax purposes) and 8% bonus share proposal have been made. As a result, the cash dividend is worth slightly more than Rs. 72,81,595 and the bonus shares are slightly more than Rs. 13,83,67,600.

The agenda also includes the appointment of an auditor for the fiscal year 2079–80 and the endorsing of the auditor’s report including PL statements, financial reports, and cash flow reports. Additionally, talk about the financing approval for the 14.50 MW Budum Khola Hydroelectric Project being built by the Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited.

The closing date for books is March 18. Shareholders who were maintained before that date are therefore eligible for the dividend payment and are welcome to attend this AGM.
